FEES
With a Mental Health Care Plan, Medicare may rebate up to $98.95 for each psychological therapy session. Please discuss with your GP to determine your eligibility and we’ll coordinate with them to support your care.
Initial consultation
This session is focused on getting to know you and your goals for therapy, as well as discussing how we can best work together moving forward.
50 minute session | $280

Subsequent Consultations
During these sessions we will explore your current situation, thoughts, feelings. lifestyle and behaviours together. Appointments are based on individual needs and can range from weekly fortnightly and monthly. Urgent appointments can generally be accommodated.

Psychological Reports
Standard psychological report: $2,000 (incl GST)
If you have a lawyer assisting you with a legal case, it is often helpful to engage with them to discuss your specific requirements, including reports.
Referrals & Rebates
You do not require a referral to access sessions with a registered psychologist however, you will require a referral from a GP if you would like to claim a Medicare rebate.

A Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) from your treating medical practitioner (GP) may allow you to access a significant Medicare rebate for up to 10 sessions per year.
Private Health Cover
Private health insurance providers may also provide a rebate on psychology sessions. If you plan to claim your sessions through private health, please check with your provider before attending your session to confirm your eligibility and the rebate amount. Please note that you cannot claim Medicare and Private Health Care rebates for the same session.
Cancellation and Missed Session Policy
Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. As I see a limited number of clients, any cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a fee. As you would understand, it is difficult to fill a cancelled appointment with short notice and therefore a cancellation fee will be charged for non-attendance or cancellations with less than one business day notice (24 hours). Where applicable this cancellation fee will be automatically debited from your nominated credit or debit card on the day of the cancellation.
Cancellation fees are as follows:
Less than 24 business hours’ notice – $130 - $140 (50% of session fee)
Missed session/non-attendance - 100% of the session fee
If you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment, please advise as soon as possible.
